Daranak Falls in Rizal

Daranak Falls in Tanay, rizal was one of the hidden falls in Rizal. The place was so greenery. The water is so cold and refreshing. It is 14 meter high falls.

Entrance fee at Daranak Falls is PhP 50 for adults, while the children below 3-ft can enter free-of-charge. Picnic sheds are available around the falls with rate of PhP 300. There are also picnic tables for PhP 200 each.If I were you, go here during weekdays to avoid large number of people around the falls and you can relax with the nature.

The falls have a life guard watching on the left side of the falls because there are portions of it which is very deep. I am not a good swimmer especially in making myself floating in the deep part of the water so I just rent a salbabida or life saver so that I could swim and go through the deep parts of the water.

As you can see, people go to the feet of the falls to stay there and have a back massage from the falling water while some pose there to have a good picture for souvenir. Some maintenance people of the falls offer a selfie picture for free that makes them very nice and have a high hospitality attitude. You can take your picture having the falls as your background on the upper side of the place. There is walkway there where you can have your pose. There is also a stairs there where you can stop and have your selfie with the falls.

There is a shady part of the falls where you can hide under the sun. Just be careful on the rocks beside because it is slippery.
